We know about Online RPGs with their fairies, magic and dwarves! What are the reasons for these things to usually be a part of an ORPG? CLASSES AND JOBS! I mean, just think about it, classes and races are awesome because they have something to do...

Now, I think an 18th century MMORPG has the awesome potential. Sure, it'll have a very unique system people needs some time getting used too, but that's the fun of it! Something NEW! Now, I already have ideas for classes which can work in a way...

---THE WORLD AND THE ENVIRONMENT---
The world would actually resemble the actual WORLD itself. Yes. It would take a lot of time to make everything but a teleport system would really help... Only to nearby countries though...

---CLASSES---

--Soldier/Marine(Officer)--
Description: This is suppose to be a common character used by player. They are also very adaptive and are one of the classes that can get promoted to military levels depending on the category they choose. Can either be Navy(renamed as Marine) or Army.

Weapons: They start with a flintlock-pistol that reloads every 5 seconds. This pistol is a bit weak but has unlimited ammo to balance it for the starters. All rifles they carry have ammo limitations and can reload slower than the pistols but can vary from the rifle type(Bayonet can be added for those close range combats). They can carry any kind of weapons and can manage a cannon too if they have enough experience. If a soldier may join a "special" group(Von Kassel's light infantry reference), they can attain camouflage and become a "Sniper". If they choose to become an officer which is given by their "questmaster" or in this case, "superior", they can boost morale and usually the one leading the group. They are also more deadly with a Sword or any melee weapon.

Weaknesses: These fine men are usually used as cannon fodder and are only best effective when they are at the front lines and as a group working co-operatively. When alone, the soldier can be defeated easily if outnumbered/out-firepowered/etc.
Furthermore, if their characters choose to become an officer, they're seriously screwed in a range combat.

--Civilian--
Description: They are the generic starting and most versatile class for all players. They start out poor but, if built up, these men are the only one's who can buy "Property" or "Land" if they have the right amount of "currency"(which I hope will be called "cur" in the game to shorten it). The Civilian starts out with nothing but earns has a sort of a more steady source of income than the fighting class because they have easier jobs. At a certain level, these men/women can choose their future like the other classes. The civilian will mostly be used as a sort of bank by players to gain extra money from anyway.

Weapons: They start out with nothing at all. They can wield weapons if they spend their Experience points wisely.

Weaknesses: The civilian is the most weakest class in the game.

--Pirate--
Description: Can't choose a side,? Then go for the pirate, matey! These hearty, sea-dawgs can stay at sea all the time! Dey be startin with a good newbie-melee weapon! Arrr... They be the most strongest starting class in the game... If lucky, a pirate can pillage from the corpse of an unlucky player with a bad luck from the "Drop Item Chances". They can stand well-enough on their own... Alone...

Weapons: They can choose whatever they want if they spend their XP right.

Weaknesses: They have the lowest armor at the start and has the most "miss" chances all the time... Probably because of all Rum.

---SHIPS---

HOLY SHAT! THEY'RE SO EXPENSIVE AND REQUIRES A VERY HARD RANK TO REACH JUST TO GET THEM! OMGWTF!!! I GOT PWNED BY A CANNON WHILE I WAS JUST CROSSING THE BEACH!!!

(Great... SOMEONE had to tell me this is going to get DELETED... Just do it. Delete the whole thing...)
