Good evening, I'm Martha Lancekap and for our Top Story tonight: ScoobyDew Attack, Thwarted!

Just today at 1:29PM, an attack fleet from The Republic of ScoobyDew was detected and it's mission was comfirmed to attack Irk! The attack was eventually thwarted with a bribe of 100.000 Deuterium barrels as a bribe to not attack the Motherworld. The attack was an effort to crush us for spying on his planets with 4 Espionage Probes. Irk would not have expected this to happen. The bribe plan was a go since our military power is not a match for his.
The Irken Government gave out an excuse that they were only trying to defend Chren which is in the Irken Commonwealth. Also, the government stated they attacked periodically and Chren keeps asking for help.

ScoobyDew denied claims of attacking Chren and said that attacking such a poorly developed nation was dishonorable for us and that another State is attacking Chren. The Chren Homeworld, is a very close neighbor to a colony of ScoobyDew Republic, Skunkwerks which must have initiated suspicions.

Chren still blames ScoobyDew for the periodical attacks it gives out and keeps on asking Irken Powers to help the planet.

The Irken government apologized for the misunderstanding and leaves the two nations[Chren and ScoobyDew] to settle the problem themselves.
